As for morality, if we listened purely to the bible, we'd still be stoning individuals in public places for the pettiest of offense. It's obvious our morals have always been man-made, and we've simply improved on them over time (as one would expect). Secular morals are better morals. That implies debated morals, hence dynamic morals, thus better civilization - away from otherwise generally backward superstitious anachronistic nonsense.
