, how do you explain my RA basically going away If it's not my diet? It was severe. My elbow and toes are actually deformed from it (from pas inflammation)

There are generic and environmental causes, genetic being autoimmune / environmental being smoking and oncogenic viruses like EBV/HHV. Also your differential needed to be correct and pointing towards RA and not other similar diseases like pseudogout/gout/SLE/etc.

From meat you're receiving nutrients a plant based diet can't even give you or give in small amounts like zinc, selenium, vitamin b12, omega-3's, carnosine, creatine, necessary amino acids which you can't receive from plants.

If anything you're putting your body in a deficit not eating meat. Humans need to be eating both since we are omnivores and produce the enzymes to digest meat AND fruits/veggies.

.

It was 100% ra.
Rheum facotr blood positive and they did MRI of hands to confirm.

Nothing else has changed. Same house. Same city. Same job. Same hours. Same workout schedule.
Only thing that changed is my diet having zero to no oils and animal products.

There are hundreds of vegan athletes and Olympians and old people. So not sure what deficit this is and not sure why these people are still walking if meat is that vital

No there's not.
I stopped consuming all animal products and oils.
Went on elimination diet for 12 days and started adding vegan foods to see if anything causes me to flare up.
I don't take anything else, except for iron supplement and b12.
On occasion i have buttery popcorn at the theatre, and giess whay, the next few days I'm flared up...

So no, the only explanation is that it works for inflammation type illnesses and no meat eater wants to admit it. Just how i was in denial about it all my first few months of finding out i had RA

Furthermore, there is nothing beneficial about being on a 'normal diet' that i can not get through being vegan. (That there isn't a supplement for, like b12)

As a matter of fact, there is more protein per calories in most legumes than there is on meat. (For people that want more protein in their diet)

Legumes aren't a complete protein source like meat or dairy protein so you'd have to ingest other forms of protein to get all the aninos to utilize that. The only plant based complete protein would be soy. Vegans need to supplement a lot of vitamins and minerals that normal diets don't need to so that's a con if you aren't good at continually supplementing. I don't know enough about ra or inflammation to comment on that.

There are 9 amino acids that you need to get from a non-vegetarian diet. Just saying.

And as far as the butter thing, maybe you're allergic to animal fats/saturated fats, not animal protein, there is a difference. Get lean meat and eat that shit. Test it.

That's why I said you need to constantly supplement. Or are you saying even with multi/iron you'd still be deficient in something?

Which amino acids?
I'mnot denying it.
At this point though, even a little fat flares me up.
And after being vegan for a year, meat seriously disgusts me,.. and I used to smoke BBQ competitively

Just try and see what works for you, everybody's body is different and reacts differently to certain compounds broken down by meats.

chiro isnt recognised as being scientific here in canada either

so +1 for the cloud

vegan diets are generally the best to reduce inflammation, if you arent willing to go all the way, limit red meats and saturated fats
