The doctor's , janitors, and nurses would still get paid... not sure what the issue is, it works fine here in Canada.
So you support the healthcare system? But you were so anti-liberal in earlier posts.

A) thats not a rand quote
B) he took it excessively far to make a point, but it makes sense. If we have a "right" to something, we are essentially forcing people to provide it and they are our slaves by that logic because they have to do as we command
Well I mean it is a rand quote though lol.
We have a right to own firearms but people that are firearm salesmen are not our slaves just because we have a right to it. lol

I don't know anything about paul, don't care either. I only go by logic, reason, evidence and that which makes sense for everyone, not just for poor people who play the victim card.
Of course we want our taxes to benefit everyone, everyone however is a whole lot of people who have no intention of ever doing something to return the generosity that is given to them.
In regard to free university:Let's consider for a moment the cost of a university degree:
- HSBC put the average
annual cost of study in the US – including tuition fees and living expenses – at US$36,564
The GDP per capita in USA is:
- $53,041.98 USD

https://www.irs.com/articles/2015-federal-tax-rates-personal-exemptions-and-standard-deductionsThat means that it takes 4 people to fund just 1 student every year, no other government spending considered. It simply can't be done for "free" only a fool would think so.
I'd like to see actual break downs of how it would work or it's utter nonsense.
But nothing is “free”! How are you going to pay for this?
There are various measures that have been proposed to cover these changes. In the College for All Act, which Bernie sponsored, a “Robin Hood” tax on Wall Street would be implemented – a 0.5 percent speculation fee on investment houses, hedge funds, and other stock trades, as well as a 0.1 percent fee on bonds and a 0.005 percent fee charged on derivatives. These very small taxes on the financial sector would completely cover the cost of providing free higher education to all students who are willing and able to attend college or university.
