Try taking MENSA's IQ test, get it validated, and believe me you'll get no where near 160. If you got 160 on "an IQ test" then you'll probably get ~ 120 range @ Mensa

132 IQ = the 1%. 160 IQ = 0.0001% or some thing crazy

No I got 144 with my psychologist. Got 138 on mensa

145 and up is designated as "gifted" intelligence, 160 and up is considered genius.

130 is top 2.5 percent, 145 is top 0.15 percent, 160 is 4SD over the mean and I don't have z scores for that but way less than 0.15 percent of course

Real IQ =/= the shitty scores they give you on the internet

pro tip: internet IQ tests always give you high result so that you post it on your Facebook, Twitter or whatever and advertise for them.


our squad in the military all sat down and took MENSA IQ test.. the vast majority scored around the ~ 100 IQ mark (+/- 5-10 above/below) my result was 133 or 98.6th percentile

my squad / troop leader who was a real smart cookie scored so well MENSA couldn't even measure his IQ. His result was " >135 IQ"

IQ tests are made for the general public and are only accurate between around 70 and 130 IQ (+/- 30 IQ of the set average) and cannot accurately measure how intelligent or how much of a genius a super intelligent person is.

All these "chinese kid got 217 IQ" stuff is bullshit.

100 is the average assuming a standard normal distribution.

Yeah I'm well aware most tests aren't accurate, my mom has her masters in education and has explained the testing protocols to me along with what the results mean. If you consider it there is no true way to get a perfect handle on someone's intelligence, there are multiple forms of intelligence and no testing method is perfect. All IQ tests are relatively arbitrary or subjective measures of intelligence
