Cause its not just about money.. its about the exuberant luxury lifestyle. Bill Gates has $85 billion but fuck being him.
Would rather have $5 billion and live like Roman Abrahamovich (Russian oligarch, has a yacht worth billions, owns one of the largest sports clubs in the world (Chelsea football) and just owns the biggest, greatest most expensive everything basically Kensington Palace Gardens estates, private jets, etc..)
Also about the personality, i.e. Harvey Specter, his networth is like .01% of Warren Buffet but holy shit what a fucking boss.
Another reason for this is because my dad is living the executive high-life lifestyle, not a billionaire by any means but closer to the Harvey lifestyle... 5000 ft² apartment in downtown Dubai, 4 other houses in 4 countries, drives an Aston, Bentley, Jag, etc.. flies first class, collects Patek Philippes, Tag Heuers, Omega, IWC watches, wears tailored suits, corner office job worked as global HR- Director / Chief Talent Officer for companies like Amazon, UBS (Swiss bank), WPP Group / Group M, etc currently running his own business, married to some one 25 years younger...
Those are foot steps I dream of following (and surpassing of course), the reason why I'm doing an MBA in finance.
I don't give two shits about war heroes or people who donate to charities to be blunt. I appreciate it, but it doesn't aspire me to become one of them, that's why I'd rather look up to some one like Dan B.
