i think you misunderstood him. he was saying if you take home 70k, then your gross salary is 100k. when he said anywhere you work, he meant whether you're in america or canada. not that every kid down the street makes 100k. HB did the math wrong and thought 2500/week was 100k/year instead of 130k/year

$2500 pre tax income a week? so about $1800-ish post tax or $7000 a month. Which country will I be living in? In Norway that's not enough for me to retire by any means, so I'll continue my pursuit of a banking career (materialistic as fuck, I wanna be a baller)

If anyone thinks they can achieve Dan B status with $2500/week they're absolutely retarded. a private jet will cost ~ $40 milliion + annual expenses a mega yacht usually starts at $50 million and doesn't really stop until about $2 billion mark(Prince Al-Waleed, Roman Abrahamovich, Sheikh Mohammed etc) + annual expenses in themillions...

You're talking about a trust fund millionaire (daddy was a wall street billionaire?) who's made $50 million playing poker..


If you have a decent paying job on top of the $2500/week (when I say decent I mean lawyer, surgeon, lower-mid level banker, etc) you can live the Harvey Specter lifestyle: flying with a CORPORATE jet (not private), renting sports cars instead of buying all of them, being chauffeured around in an S-class, decent sized apartment near or on Fifth Avenue (2-3 bedrooms), $5000-12,000 Tom Ford tailored suits, $10,000 bottle of scotch every now and then and generally live comfortably enough to eat at the best steak joints in NYC more or less every day, take women out on expensive ass dates, holidays to Monaco, Hamptons, Bahamas etc.

I would definitely still have my job but I would give them like 2-3 days a week that I would want to work.
I wouldn't want to work 5 days a week, so I would want to work like tues/weds/thurs and have friday-mon off lol.
