get a girlfriend (no way i'd marry someone i've known less than 5 years)
change careers
after changing careers, buy a house/townhome to settle down in
learn to invest my savings
adopt a cat/dog

I feel as if all of you are condensing 10-15 year plans into 5 years.

Odds are you aren't going to build a successful start up in only 1-2 years... it takes years of dedication and learning from previous failures break into the fitness industry.

It's not easy to come up with something new in fitness that hasn't been done before or is better than current methods. You're better off building off other's success such as all of the adaptations to 5/3/1 or starting strength.

if you're still referring to business, then it doesnt have to be better. just look at crossfit. marketing is more effective than objective soundness.

Start med school and get most of the way through. I won't be done in 5 years but I'll be starting 4th year or so. Similar to Marley, I plan on aiming for top 5 in my class, which given my extensive knowledge before actually beginning, seems plausible.

Also plan on doing research as a med student in some off times, so hopefully publish some papers
Also trying to publish a paper this coming spring once I get all the data, pretty excited if I can pull it off. Collaborating with a classmate/fellow lab worker to make it more comprehensive and increase chances.

That's about it.

Also @Mesy, same plan in terms of trying to become a PT on the side through med school. Haha for us, I feel like being swole and a medical student could land us a bunch of clientele.

I'm well aware of the statistics. It's not actually that dangerous of a job, by comparison to how dangerous it is perceived.

the hours

lol.

How so? Maybe it's different where you are but a lot of places up here in Canada have 4 on/4 off shift work. 10 hour days and 14 hr nights.

That's not that bad... Literally off half the year not including vacation time. Take one block off and you instantly have 12 days off. Pretty sick if ya ask me...

24 hour shifts 10 days a month

Yeah, they do it differently down there lol I wouldn't like that much. Some places do 2 24 hr shifts a week, which would also be sick

what do they do, 1 on 2 off? or 2 on/4off?
