Is it weird for you to be doing tasks that you'd normally have a dip in for?

Right now I'm playing on my PlayStation and i always have a dip in while I play, it doesn't feel the same Lol I should just sell my ps4 now

Just a habit
It'll break within a couple of weeks
Probably a form of associative LTP

Yeah that's the best method in most any case if you actually stick to it.. Mitigates the withdrawal.

As for associative LTP, I'm basically saying that your neural circuitry associates playing play station with dipping (think classical conditioning).. It's where a robust synaptic connection causes an adjacent weak signal to also become strengthened. It doesn't help that nicotine activates mesolimbic dopamine, reinforcing the behavior, as well as nicotinic receptors (ie; alpha4/beta2 or alpha7) positively modulate the signal.

I say this to illustrate my point, due to the strengthened synapses, it'll likely take weeks to overcome the habit,. Slowly LTD will overtake the previously strengthened synapse.

Maybe if I keep track of a certain time of day I'm aloud to give myself a pinch and gradually increase the time increments

Started nicoderm patches today (step 1, free trial from doctor) it definitely negates any cravings. But I'm not going to spend over $150 on all 3 steps so I think I'll skip step 1 and start on step 2

E/ weighed today at 176. Just last week I was 172. Looking forward to post progress pics in a few weeks

Getting close to 6 days without buying any dip. I had 1 from my cousin when I was really fucked up. Didn't even enjoy it.

So far so good. Bodily cravings are over. I had some pretty solid anxiety for a day or two, but no issues otherwise.

Do you notice any fluctuations in energy levels?

The doctor took my heart rate and when I'm at rest my heart bpm is 56 she asked if I was an athlete
