My first time doing it couple months ago was 7:46 with the RX. I came in between classes my coach was like "Ok guys when you are all done stretching were gunna watch and cheer chris on while he does fran"
I gave him a death glare and he just loved it. It helped though having 12 people sitting there yelling at you to pick up the bar

WOD
Taking it easy today to prep for Fran tomorrow. Just did a 5000m row this morning, quads still burning from yesterday. Not stoked for tomorrow.
Finished the 5000 in 22:20. Pretty slow by standards but was a nice stretch. DOUBLE UNDERS @ 3pm WOOOOOOOT

It's bench bodyweight x 55, Deadlift 1 1/2 bodyweight x55, Clean .75% bodyweight x55. 10 reps of each, then 9, then 8. etc etc down to 1. No rest. Just pick up the bars and go.
I've seen dudes my size do it in 15 and ive seen dudes 250+ do it in 20min upwards to 40minutes..

Thankfully my coach is a fucking stickler for form, i thought my form was good before starting with this guy and not even close. Deadlift is a big one, I never used to load my hamstrings and it makes it sooo much easier.

BoneYard's. Too much room for BOneyard in title.

Hey, if your coach is teaching you good form, I'm all for crossfit.

How would you know if your coaches are showing you good form? Lol
Personally, my coaches and their coach are Olympic lifting competitors and nationally ranked.
Crossfit is easy if you know the basic movements, but when you get to the competition level, having the right form means everything. I was watching a competition in Montreal during the winter and I saw a grown jacked bro at least 200-220lbs not able to clean and jerk 185 more then 10 out of the 30 required for the comp, while the guy from my box was maybe 185lbs himself and he went through them like butter.
Are your coaches just a few bros who opened a box or are they athletes who have been practicing lifting for a long time and have time under the bar?
Stay safe bro's

He has his Olympic lifting certificate from an Olympic lifting coach, he has been doing this shit for a long time. Watching him do his lifts is unreal. I personally feel a lot safer doing deadlifts and heavy clean and jerks now after working with him.
Granted im still a long way from clean and jerking 225+ with my 2 broken feet, broken back and dislocated shoulder.

It's easy to ask you the same thing, how do you know he ISN'T showing us good form? After my back injury i can't not lift with good form or i'm fucked.
