Of course, you would need a partner or partners performing the concentric part for you, oak.
alright so i put it to the test...
my 1rm BP max is 275lbs
130% puts me at 357lbs
Which is jst outrageous...
i decided to try it with 315lbs ... thus only being 40lbs more than my 1rm
i could perform 3 eccentric reps at which which would take 3 seconds for the majority of the negaive but once my elbows broke 90 the weight wld fall rather rapidly and only take up the last second to = 4 seconds
i wasnt too happy with how this felt and didnt think it did much but my chest was the most sore its ever been.
i am glad i listened to my gut and only put on 315lbs b/c i think if i would of loaded it 130% i could of gotten hurt.
