I always laugh when I see all the ones about "your hate fuels me bro" because it seems like 99% of the time, no one hates you... I guess if you can trick yourself into thinking everyone does though, maybe that is motivational...

My entire life I've been told, "you can't, you can't, it's impossible, you'll never succeed." However, I disagree and continue to do stuff that people would never imagine being real. My whole life, I've just been saying, "F*** you!" The feeling...it's euphoric and drives me to do more.

When I first started posting here I laid out some high goals and a lot of people said impossible. Guess what...I'm knocking on the door.
The doubt was all that I needed.

Telling someone they can't do something will be received as hateful words.

Who are these people in your life that have told you your entire life "you can't, you can't, it's impossible, you'll never succeed"?

Family.
Classmates.
Teammates.
Teachers.
People Ive competed against.
People on forums.

Even friends.

I'm not saying they didn't doubt you, I just think you might need some new people in your life...

Coaches, peers, etc.

Some people will tell you you can't, because they truly believe they're sparring you something, whether its embarrassment or what not.

That's life

I can't change who the people are that were/are around me.
I can't make it so that they don't see what I attempt to do.
I can't change their opinions on whether I'll succeed or not.

But I can go do what they say I can't.

I just don't buy the "my entire life I've been told I can't" mentallity... I mean sure there's some 4 year old somewhere getting beat on by his drunk stepdad or something, but I feel like a lot of this is manufactured motivation...
