also wldnt those weights be much lower to the ground, than the reg oly weights?... thus making the lift that much harder


yeah its a bit harder since they lay deeper but i sumo'd quite wide to counter this. i am not the longest kid either. around 5'11 or 6'0. dunno for sure, its 181cm.

e: its good tho since i rep quite 5-10kg more on meets with normal bars and weights which makes me wonder if i can hit place 3 or even 2 next time.

just do 1*2 and reset sets and you will gain lots of power @ deadlifts. nice bp, was good.

How much can u rep 225?
I haven't maxed in a long time. What do u max at?

Very good bench pressing video dude :) congratulations on the lift

And I have to say I'm pretty much on the same boat than you two... My squat has always been fucked up, although I'ts been getting better since some weeks ago I shifted into front squats...

I think that I'll be uploading some videos a friend of mine recorded last week in which I max 1 flat bp with about 275-280 lbs and some front squats as well if I can make a new one :)

For sure. I was putting way too much focus on my tris. I guess they decide to say fuck this at 295 which is where ive been stuck haha

Around 8 or so I reckon?

If you want to know your max, and you did 9 reps with 100 kgs, I guess It's gotta be between 120 and 135-140 kgs. Depending on how good you are taking those heavy one rep sets...

I tried to max the other day on front squat as well btw (I had never dared before) and did 2 reps with 120 kgs... I know it's a shame, but well..They're getting better. And after that and some back squat I maxed 2 x 180 kgs (200 lbs) @ deadlift. I think I could get a little more if done fresh, without squatting before, but whatever.

135 with luck i'd rather say 130 tho. it really depends on the quality and volume of the warm-up and state of mind.

Well, I guess that also goes with your type of training. I suggested a weight a little above mine because I had never tried to max on bp before I did that, and 45sz said that he's used to doing low reps sets, and maxing, so I guess he can handle heavy sets way better than me... I might be wrong, of course.
