i fucked up in the begining and dropped way to fast to 1500-1600 cals and had nothing in me

@ bold .. weird :P

nonetheless all the info you need is in our pms
put it into practice, keep learning, and stay consistent.

Posting specifics is a waste imo

haha yes. that was dumb... but you learn :)

At this point "specifics"(i prefer a... "guide") are not a bad thing because I am getting to know how many cals/ macros etc are in all the foods I eat without looking it up, and thats good to know.

also just doing 531 4 days a week ( lower volume etc, as you said ) haha and its going very well.

this cutting shit is mostly mental tho and it sucks lol.

you ever drink diet soda or use hot sauce etc small things like that to help .?

Oak, did you simply drop calories for contest prep, or was there A LOT of cardio involved in your training, as well? I'm just curious because I can remember seeing Lightman talk about the lowered calories are all that is necessary for cutting BF%. Also, if yu did do lot of cardio, do you think it helped with your posing endurance? If you didn't, do you think it would have?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just curious about this. Again, congratulations, bro. Would be motivating as hell to train with you for even just a summer.

yes I use diet soda/zero calories drinks
and I also buffalo sauce/spices etc

I like food, and I like looking good. You have to find a balance if you want to be in it for the long run.

it is a simple matter of calorie deficit. Most of which should be done through diet imo
because it is definitely easier to drop 200cals from ur daily intake than have to do 200cal burn of cardio.

again its a matter of finding a happy middle. I started doing more cardio torwards the end, and or when my weightloss was stalling and didnt want to drop food.
Lightman is a very intelligent person, and I wld agree with the majority of his statements. Mainly due to the fact that they are usually scientifically backed, and make logical sense.

Makes sense. And I defnitely agree with bolded. Burning 200 cals with cardio seems to take forever...

And thank you. :) BTW, love the stage shots, bro. You killed it. 2nd and 3rd didn't even stand a chance.
