your lack of endurance in the subsequent sets is due to lactate accumulation/lack of clearance via bloodstream than anything

So It will increase hypertrophy?

Id like to know how much protein u need for a bulk and how to figure out how much u need for a cut.

Even posting some sample routines for strength or hypertrophy.

Also up to how many days could the nutrients from a meal such as pasta still be used.

I'll leave this 'ere

As Liron said, prot requirements don't change for being in a deficit, although you may get by with less in a cut since you will be in a strength routine, and therefore your MPS will be lower.

Diet soda or soda in general.- is it bad

Guidelines on volume (is there a point of too much where u can't gain any more muscle from) such as hst suggest

Staying in shape at an old age, what are the best supplements u can take and what kind of exercise can/should you do to maintain a healthy lifestyle as a senior citizen (would show this one to my Gpa). He's always asking me stuff and Idk too much for his age.

Could do a post on blood flow restricted training.

I'll continue adding ideas as I think of things.

your gpa can do all of the same things that you do, you just need to scale down the intensity for him because sarcopenia likely limits his motor control and his vo2max has declined with age. supplements as usual are not necessary for health. just eat decent food and exercise regularly.

make sure he understands that just because his physical limits have declined, doesnt mean he cant increase them again with training and that he cant train at higher intensities (unless he has a family history of cardiac disease, then be careful because intensity has to be reduced even further)

e: id much rather consume sugar than aspartame. never know what carcinogens will do in the body

But I'll still be burning out on 20 reps? Won't that trigger more muscle fibers?

I just know I built a decent chest in 8th grade only from push-ups lol.

I was reading and came across this.
I thought I'd cite it as further benefit for intermittent fasting, where you get profound spikes in ghrelin at points.

"A concerted kinase interplay identifies PPARgamma as a molecular target of ghrelin signaling in macrophages."

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/19888469/

In essence, ghrelin will help repress/attenuate atherosclerosis expression via macrophage ppar gamma activation, and thus LXR and ABC transporters. This + for instance, AMPK's effects on cholesterol should = less cardiovascular incidence.
