You fail to see that there is control in it, then. You can't just free fall with the weight and hope you catch the bar at the bottom. So please, correct your second sentence you "also I THINK...", because you don't know that it does anything.

You're not going to go find someone who has never squatted and tell them to try to bounce out of the hole. That's obviously going to cause massive injuries.

By the way I'm not bouncing out of the bottom lol. I don't go deep enough to do that. I just don't see a reason to descend slow
