you shouldn't be lifting weights yet. it'll stunt your growth.
This is false. Please refrain from answering questions on this thread. (this goes for all of you). I'm sorry but I have to lay down the law here because realistically I am supposed to be fielding and answering any/all questions to avoid any confusion and/or wrong information (such as the above).
Contrary to popular belief - you will not hinder the growth process by lifting weights (CORRECTLY) at any age.
If anything, certain muscular exercises (such as squats) have been proven to help the body produce extra growth hormone and thus result in INCREASED height (when done properly).
As with any age, the utmost of care must be paid attention to form and safety in order to minimize the risk of injury. At a younger age (below 18), I would always recommend lifting lighter (12-20 rep range) and focusing on good form and good pump to prepare your body for the torturous workouts you have in store during your early-late 20's.

i have
But any way im thirteen years old, what is my average weight i should be benching?
As for your bench press young man, at 13 years old (or any age) there is NO particular weight your should be at. It all depends on the person. A good starting range for your age would be trying 1/3 of your bodyweight and working up from there. An olympic bar (standard bench press bar used in gyms) weighs 45 lbs, so if you weigh 135 lbs that would be perfect to start with.
