Hi SKC
I noticed on bb.com for Now Adam they have different profile with Softgels VS Tablets

180 softgel is $25 (90day supply)
120 tablet is $18.50 (60day supply)

I went through the two profiles and noticed some have more/less or none of some ingredients, well I thought I'd just ask you

which would you recommend for someone to use?

Hey there....

Tablets always.

Hope that helps!

Are there any must have supplements aside from protein powders? I like creatine, is there something better?

The content of the tablets as well as the price makes for the better choice.

Softgels are simply for people who have a hard time swallowing the hard and coarse tablets

BCAA's to prevent muscle atrophe between meals and during exercise and before bed

Arginine+Ornithine for optimal pump and vascularity which also helps expand the blood vessels and force additional nutrients to the muscles

ZMA + Mucuna Purlens + Melatonin for optimal GH production when taken before bed

Good prohormone like CEL H-Drol for faster muscle gains

Fat Burner = GAT Jet Fuel

Protein = NOW! 100% whey protein isolate (for cutting) or CytoSport cytogainer (for bulking)

Caffeine/Energy booster = GAT Jet Fuel

Note: the fat burner and caffeine/energy booster are the same product...they are both stimulants...do not take separate supplements for that.

I've been under the assumption that softgels are superior when it comes to digestion, and that you'll generally find better bioavailable forms in the softgel vs. tablet.

any truth to that?

depends on the softgel and tablet in question

Some softgels are made of a rapid degrading vegetable geletin...while others are made from synthetics that take longer to digest

some tablets are smooth coated with a chemical that dissolves slowly other tablets (usually ones that feel coarse) are rapidly digested and easily absorbed

the NOW! Adam tablets are coarse and have no added coating or chemicals to slow digestion. Therefore they are even safe to chew and eat if necessary.

The softgels are purely for swallowing ability (when dealing with the NOW! Adam line) other products may differ depending on the actual casing
