after december 6th comp i will be moving up to the 163 class.. usapl is changing the weight classes to match ipf. bring on the big pr's

what is your top squat?

That is nice! I am always confused when I see/hear USAPL classes since they shift abit from the IPF :P

I did 190kg this summer, aiming for 200 (or more ;) ) sometime in december.
I am considering trying to use a belt and do parallel squats from time to time next year, inb4 I do less...

nice! what i have found if i try to stop right at parallel it is much harder. i go untill i hit my reflex for what ever stance i choose.

once you getback into it. try out some 5 second pause squats. pretty damn hard, but i feel they have helped me.

Yeah I will probably experience negative effects from being used to ''bounce'' at the bottom.

Used to do tons of paus squats ranging from 5-60sec ^^

So I came in quite underweight (down 6 pounds from last meet). Didn't set any new PRs today but I tied my previous PRs. Should of hit the squat PR but I wasn't mentally ready for it and went way too low. I remember hitting 320 last meet on the squat and feeling like if there had been another half pound I would of missed it. 320 was easy this time. Either way I'm happy I didn't lose strength given the weight loss and I had a blast. Didn't have anyone recording except this one on the last DL attempt.

This gives me motivation to train harder and focus greater on my nutrition going forward. Also I shouldn't decide on my numbers the morning of the meet :)

My attempts were, in kg
132.5/145/150 Fail
92.5/102.5 Fail/102.5 Fail Tried to go down to 100kg on my last attempt but apparently you can't do that. Oops :)
197.5/215/222.5

experience alone is worth so much.

as i watch your last deadlift i keep thinking you only have 1 leg because of the black socks and someones leg in the background lol.
nice work!
