Would you recommend taking casein before bed on a cut?

If so, how necessary is it?  Is it really that important to eat something right before bed so you don't lose muscle?

Edit - Also, some people say moderate intensity cardio is better for fat burn than high intensity.  Is there any truth to this?

yes casein or cottage cheese before bed is especially essential on a cut to prevent muscle wasting.

the best fat burning cardio is HIIT. Try it out...but an example would be...

on treadmill

3 mins walk
2 mins jog
1 min sprint
3 mins walk
2 mins jog
1 min sprint

repeat for a total of 30-60 mins

6 on 1 off is optimal for a good cut. the rest is mostly for muscle building. fat loss requires rest...but not rest from training. the more exercise the more calories burned the more thermogenic effect and the most fat loss. 6 on 1 off is supreme. For bulking, 2 or 3 on 1 off is good.

Always wanted to try it. I think now is a good time, because my food is paid for by my parents (some of the foods are expensive). I need to know what I should be eating day to day so I am eating a balanced diet without meat. Like what are some good protein foods (nuts I know, but eh....). I'm not doing this to lose weight or anything, just want to have the experience. Also if you have any miscellaneous tips that you think are useful if you've been a vegetarian.

I'll pay fg if you help me out :) Thanks!

Hi

im 15 years old and been training for ~7 months on and off (4 months without stopping atm).My step mother doesnt want me to take whey protein supplement so she brought me to the nutritionist, the nutritionist told me things i already knew, but she told me i needed not more than 130 g of protein per day (when training-im 160 lbs btw).I was kinda surprised, i always tough i needed close to 185 g of protein per day.

do i really only need 130 g of protein per day ?
