Lies, all lies!

Go buy one right now, DL and tell me it doesn't make a difference.

you're a beast.
I noticed you have your back/chest up higher when you start your motion, any reason for this?
I guess I still need to work on my form.
Thanks boxa, What time specifically in the video? I dont really get your question, unless you mean my form overall. if that's the case, that's just good form, before you dead lift, think to yourself, butt down, chest up.
So if that's not the Q lmk and I'll answer it.
Get a video and you can PM it to me and I'll help you.

just something i noticed, but shouldn't your hips be a little farther down when you start your lift? seems like your back is curving a little bit much because hips are too high >< understandable after you get through the first bunch of reps, cause thats a lotta weight but it would suck to injure something. very nice set regardless. and whats with everyone wearing short shorts/boxer briefs at your gym lol
I've tried having my hips lower..and I know exactly what you're talking about, and it's awkard as hell. Just my mechanics to start /w hips higher..my lower back is not sore at all. But you're right, as I keep doing more reps and getting more fatiuged, my form does start to decline, but that's perfectly normal. I dont think I'll get injuried b/c I'm not using my lower back; the rouned back thing is not exurated like people who don't know how to DL, I guess it's slight if any..but that's a technique PLs use to make the bar travel less distance.
Konstantinov is probably one of the top 3 strongest RAW power lifters of all time, straight up beast.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cA8s17YIbSYHis set up is very similar to mine, or I should say mine is similar to his..hips higher than most people..and a slightly rounded upper back.
Thanks for looking out, but b/c of my body mechanics, it's what's natural for me, and 100% safe.

As for the short shorts, they do a fuck ton of weight, and put baby powder on their legs to reduce friction so it'll go up eaiser, plus that's what they wear in comps..I'll probably shave my legs later and give baby powder a try. I know having on the sweat pants like I have makes the friction more, so it's harder, but I dont really care that much as long as I progress.
