What do you think of pea coats I think they're called, that was my initial thought but maybe a bit too formal looking?

They are a stable in any wardrobe. Can be difficult to make them work with boots though.

Sorry I don't know much about rings. Google is a better resource than I in this case.

Huge chunky golden rings on your pinky finger.

Anyone wear Clarks Desert boots without skinny chinos? Does it look dumb? Like with just normal dark denim.

Men, what kind of coats do you wear that look manly/mature.

Like, not formal but smart.
Jeans (skinny jeans in my case), desert boots (google if you don't know what they are), polo/shirt, nice watch etc.
What kind of coat goes with it?

Yup easily, leather jacket.

Picked up a cheap one from H&M, £60. Looks pretty damn good in most clothes.

I have a leather jacket but it's not any kind of fit that compliments my body if you know what I mean?
Will keep an eye out for any leather jackets, thanks.

Oh... Well maybe it's just that I come from a low-middle class family and only recently got a job paying £1k/month.
Maybe now I can start spending more if I wish to and I can justify spending it.

As for a plain black suit, I don't see the difference between a £100 one and a £2000 one other than maybe in inside lining being silk or something, lol.

Well you do get what you pay for with a suit. People will judge you based upon the clothes you wear (ESPECIALLY in business) if buy a $100 suit, you'll look like a hundred bucks. you buy $1000 suit, you'll look like thousand dollars, buy a $10K suit, you'll look like a million dollars... It's all in the fit. if you're looking at £2000 suits, you should be sniffing over at Savile Row, London famous for making some of the finest suits in the world. Should be able to get off the rack suits by most of the tailors there; Gieves & Hawkes, Anderson & Sheppard, Holland & Sherry, H. Huntsman, Richard James and so on. Their bespoke tailored suits are obviously loads more though.

It's not just the look, its all about the fit and type of materials used. Some are made in India by machine using cheap as mass produced wool in 10 minutes... Others are hand made by excellently talented English/Italian tailors with 10+ years experience, and taking 20-30 hours to make, with fine/exotic wools.

Gieves & Hawkes makes the best suits with out getting stupidly expensive like Kiton, Brioni etc.

I've been H&M about twice as everything seems square, as far as tshirts and jumpers go.
Like no kind of fit, just square.

As for suits I work in a warehouse, I would only need a suit for erm, well nothing, haha.
