depends on your goals...if you are trying to lose bodyfat then no carbs in the post workout meal if its meal 3 or more of the day (considering a 6 meal day)

if you are just trying to build mass, go for some good complex carbs like sweet potatoes or whole grain pasta or brown rice.

Have you ever tryed the now unflavored whey?

whats a good thing i can mix it with besides milk, im trying to cut.

get unflavored whey and mix it with coco powder (unsweetened) and some xylitol - then mix with water.

Whats xylitol?

Could I just mix it with like orange juice or something?

you can mix with fruit juice, but if you are cutting this adds a lot of unnecessary sugars....

as far as xylitol, please google it. its a natural sweetener with virtually no impact on blood sugar and positive benefits for your teeth

hey SKC you know those quaker rice cakes

on the ingredients it says whole grain rice, salt. that's it

but the cakes look like they're toasted, baked or fried and I don't know how it's made but wondering if it's healthy?

I've been eating them for my whole grain, very practical and cheap too,

what do you think?

they are baked...I think it even says on the label.

whole grain brown rice cakes (plain) by quaker are some of my favorites for QUICK whole grain consumption.

In my crazier days...whenever I'd go to someones house for a party...or anywhere other than home where a grill or stove was available... I'd buy a 1 lb package of chicken and a large package of the rice cakes and just grill the chicken, pour on tabasco sauce (kept in my car), and eat rice cakes with it.

Quick question!

Is sugar from fruits unhealthy? In fruit juice it usually has like 10 grams of sugar per 100ml (even if it's no added sugar)

question is, should i still keep up with my cardio during a bulk?

also, during a bulk, how many meals out of 6 meals a day should contain low gi carbs? all 6?

not unhealthy...but sugar nonetheless...on cutting it must be avoided except for post workout and first thing in the morning
