i'd say no but i had a really weird experience as a kid. no joke, a lady in a pink & white dress essentially floated toward me one night in my home. it scared the crap out of me but then vanished.

and one true oddity: so my wife's great grandfather passed away and his wife was sick, ailing from some breathing issues at the time. my toddler had some trouble sleeping so i hopped into bed with him. i went to sleep, and i had this really weird dream that i was in my wife's great grandmother's body, having trouble breathing. in the dream, my wife's great-grandfather was approaching "me". just then, my eyes open -- like an increased awareness took over me -- and i looked to my son, who had been sleeping. he suddenly wakes up screaming a moment later, and he literally runs off the bed and i catch him mid-air, because otherwise he would've probably smashed himself onto the floor. he was freaking out so i took him downstairs to a couch. i asked him if something was wrong ....

he said he saw his great-grandfather over my shoulder. that gave me the shivers. my son wanted to go outside -- it was 3 AM -- so i told him to just relax instead, and that his great-grandfather was probably just visiting. next day, my father-in-law reported that his grandfather had "visited" him that night.

oh yeah ... post-concussion ... i had a horrible concussion about 1.5y ago. the hospital allowed me to go home mainly due to my begging b/c i planned to go to chicago the next day. that night i saw spirits of dead people i had known, just like people tell in near-death experience stories. that didn't freak me out. it felt like they were just connecting with me. it's hard to count that example because my brain metabolism was screwed.

again, i'm not a believer but those are some of my experiences.

I believe in ghosts and i'm not religious, but I believe in another life after death.


That might be me Bullshitting mysef, but death is a lot more depressing if you cling to the idea that once a person is deceased, that you will never see them again.

And no, I don't know if I necessarily believe in really any of the Bible, Jesus may have been a real person, but I don't know if I really believe he had all of these powers, etc.

I agree that churches probing for donations and when you have certain persons in the church being worth millions in personal wealth that there is something wrong with that picture.

But I'll never bash somebody who does believe in the bible , there's no need to.
