they do dry land during the season
and they're training that way because thats how they HAVE to.
because their employers push them to those limits.

Know a coach who trains olympic wrestlers, who suggests otherwise.. Guess we can both use anecdotal evidence too.

So, were beating a dead horse.

Anyway this is 1 uncommon tip that I swear by. What works for me doesn't work for you. I love feeling fresh as a daisy after a day of training while still making progress. Just don't go around telling me I'm WRONG and then try and use anecdotal evidence to back your argument lmao.

" for me feeling sore is bad, and the best program is when i wake up without doms or soreness the next day works best for me " or something along those lines.

I didn't say it's a fact you just inferred that and came off as a cunt.

Athletes aren't supposed to be extremely sore because of lifting. Lifting is supposed to be accessory work compared to their actual training. If you're sore from lifting and you're an athlete, you're reducing your productivity and ultimately reducing your progress in your actual training for your sport. It's also a fantastic way to end up on the bench with an injury if you go too hard in the weight room.

Not sure if this is what you guys are arguing about or not.

Look at a D1 athlete and compare them to a guy who doesn't play a sport and just goes to the gym to lift.

Go listen to Mark Rippetoe and his explanation of a good athlete and a great athlete.. essentially he says that two athletes with the same skill level but different compositions, the one that's more muscular will be always better.
