I think im leaving the bodybuilding world for a little, changing up my training.
I'm really gunning for edmonton fire next year, and they have one of the hardest physical tests in canada.

so i'm going to abandon the weights for a while, not entirely but for the most part, and work on becoming a better overall athletic machine.
i think instead of training 1-2 hours a night at the gym, im going to train in a martial art (BJJ/Kick boxing)

basically more functional training is what im looking to get into, with a ton of cardio.

should be interesting change.

thats ok post pics lets see how ripped you get and how fast and strong u get

Good luck mate :]

If you want to build a great athletic machine look into RUNNING, CYCLING and SWIMMING when you can.

It will improve your sex life tremendously. Especially if you work on hip flexors.

Too late to edit.

I really am on this hype train for you. If there is one suggestion that I could make to you it would be to completely throw away your pride and be willing to be wrong when it comes to certain aspects.

Biomechanics being one of those things. I'm not just talking about lifts when I say that though. I'm talking about daily movements and just how you hold your body. A great example is the fact that hip flexors are tight on the majority of the population just due to how they carry themselves and movements that they do.

I'm not saying that these guys are the best, but they are a great source of free information when it comes to the spine, stretching, and mobility.

Their Instagram is extremely informative with them explaining things and showing how to properly do it while making it seem not so serious.

uhh just do bodybuilding and add cardio? nothing u do for the tests or on the job requires anything bodybuilding and cardio wouldn't sufficiently and supererogatorily meet

people act like it's difficult. if you can deadlift 500 lbs carrying a 150 lb dummie up several flights of stairs is something you can train to do with ease in a few weeks.

it's ridiculous to think you need to restructure your entire life and training regiment to pass a fire test. lul

afk
