0 hours. Quit gaming back in 2011 when I was 18. When I was a kid I thought I'd be gaming forever, but now I find it really sad when I hear people above the age of 30 who still play games

Grew out of it, joined the navy, started college. Don't have time to play games anymore. Training is my new hobby yo.

I bought Uncharted 4 and Batman: Arkham Knight both at launch... Haven't opened Arkham and Uncharted 4 I only played for about 5 hours which is less than half the campaign.

This. Really sad people still playing games when they're adults.

I'm a little confused about the position you are taking.

Your profile picture shows you in your underwear, grabbing your crotch, and smoking something.

Your status says "Jacking Off!"

Guy is an idiot. Playing games is no different than any other form of entertainment except it actually can promote critical thinking and strategy development. Yeah sure, gaming can promote laziness etc as well, but so can many other forms of entertainment such as tv etc. Nobody says it's sad that adults watch movies.. But there's nothing more brain dead than sitting there watching a screen while you do nothing.

???

I bet you a significant portion of the population thinks a male cheerleader past his confusion years in high school is sad.

But you enjoy it and its a fun hobby for you and that's a great thing How is it different than some guy in discord shooting the shit with his buddies on the weekend?

Hobbies are hobbies. People enjoy different things. Like I said its a great thing.

I'd hardly compare doing sports professionally with some one who sits on his arse playing videogames. But I get your point.

zero in a few weeks.

I have to give up games completely for a solid year and a half.

The competition and work im going to go through will be insane.

I think working out will be all i'm able to do IF it's at home lol

well wouldnt it be more sad to just spend ur time on gaming fourms while not playing any games?

lol

Saw this comment coming... I usually browse a few forums while at the school library as a break from studying... or if I have dead time at work... or after coming home at 10 pm like now and not much to do before bed other than a quick fap. Part of surfing the web in general.

Why is it sad? Lol

If I have to explain it, its not really worth explaining.

Example

"this is John, 38, plays video games". Ehhh. sheesh

Another practical example... Would you put it on your tinder profile that you play videogames all day? Fuck no. Would you post that you lift them heavy ass weights all day, erry day? fuck yes!

INB4 Tinder argument... Just an example

lmao shut your egotistical lying ass up. Nobody here cares if you think playing games is "sad". Plenty of people out there WILDLY more successful than you will ever be or could ever comprehend being who play games daily. You're a pathological liar who posts here far too much to pretend to be as successful as you pretend to be.

Hahah another betafag rage comment. How do you define more successful than me? Who are these individuals you're referring to? I don't really pretend to be anything, I blog my life and people call me a liar... Feels good man :)

Not saying there aren't successful people who play videogames... Conor Mcgregor in particular plays lots of call of duty (and he's a Metal Gear Solid fan btw... MGS4 Best Game Ever <3 )

To me the argument revolves around the degree or extent to how much time the person is investing. Are you 1 to 1.5 Hours a day when you have some free time vs a person logging 3 to 5 everyday.

You might have an argument to say it's sad on what they're missing out on.

Problem is they might rebuttale with but that's what I love.

Then the issue with that is they may not have experienced lots of great things like the person who refuses to try new food just because they're already happy with what they like and aren't open to anything new.

It's just a circular argument unfortunately.

That's when you give up and just say to each their own.
