is nobody going to point out the fact that eating 1.8/2g per lb of body weight IN EGG WHITES is ridiculous?

Realistically, unless you're a body builder or serious powerlifter or something of the sort that amount of protein of any kind is absolutely not necessary. Getting all of it from egg whites is ridiculous

That aside, wasting the yoke of an egg is also silly. If you're specifically eating enough egg whites to warrant a high protein diet, odds are real good your body can also really use the fats/energy from the yoke.

I'd say 120g of protein is plenty for what you're goals are. Get it from varying sources.

Also, hard boiled eggs FTW

100g then is plenty fine. Restricting yourself to only getting it from egg whites is silly though.

It's easy to get 100g of protein a day if you aren't as restrictive on how you get it

I had a massive brain fart. My first post I meant to type kg. I got my conversions all kinds of fucked and backwards.

Read my first post again and substitute lb for kg for the answer to your question.

1.8-2g per kg is very overkill for most people.

1g per kg is realistically probably enough. You're not trying to be a huge body builder or powerlifter or something so it's not necessary.

100-120 grams is probably enough
