no amount of copy/pasting links from google or repeating what i said weakens my argument or makes yours looks stronger.

stick to shitposting. you're really great at it.

All you're doing is sticking to the study as if it justifies itself like a religious person sticks to the Bible as proof of God.

Quit crying because I'm dispelling this "ground-breaking" study of yours.

Keep on turning a blind eye to real credible links.

this is a well-written piece, and it's very good that The China Study is being challenged on details it may have fallen short on. it's the only way to move forward. there is a lot of research, data, and analysis done in the study. it'd be scientifically unheard of for it all to be 100% on-point, being as first-edition-esque as it is (but being as we're all scientists here, you'd know that, right?).

anybody who claims The China Study is some sort of vegan gospel, or the end-all, be-all for universal nutrition is goddamn insane. on the other hand, anybody who will disregard the study for the points and counter-arguments brought up against it has no understanding of how the progressive nature of science, or science itself works.

unfortunately, google be damned, the points brought up here hardly invalidate the study. it merely suggests there is room for improvisation, and that is a very good thing.

The China Study has laid credible groundwork for lots of issues that need more analysis. or, as it says in the last paragraph of the page you linked: "The issues raised are important and deserve further study by unbiased scientists."

you do not make a strong argument by regurgitating a phrase that is entirely out of context, or by posting a link to the 2nd result on google when searching for "problems with the china study"

basically, you're a chump. pls go, tommyd323.

Do you realise how douchey all your posts sound?

Tommy isn't claiming to be a god damn scientist nor does he need to be to post very relevant (also read: accurate) information on the subject.

chiro is psuedoscience and why would antiinflammatories make your pinched nerve not hurt? you need to treat it with physical therapy or surgery.

chiro is a waste of time and money. get a massage if you want something to feel better. inflammation can irritate tissues but wont cause compression.. unless you have massive swelling in a nerve tunnel but i doubt it. where is the pinched nerve?

wow you're a salty little fuck aren't you?

Is the chiro a waste for misaligned hips?

@op start taking 6-10 fish oil daily

no its great

Yes. Someone just said in another thread "we have another wretch"
Not sure why so many people hate.

My rheumatologist wanted me on methotrexate.
My mayo clinic doctor wife told me to look at china study
I stumbled upon mcdougall
And here i am a year later running marathons and wearing flip flops...
My pain is literally gone...

So yea - not sure why people hate on me just telling my story

I'm a doctor too.
MTX will fucking kill u.
But I don't approve of this pure vegetarian diet and as far as "toxins" in your intestines, no such thing. Intestinal flora will already eliminate "toxins" to maintain equilibrium in the GIT.

Lol.
I bet you think carbs make you fat too, huh?
So i guess that the Dr's shipped healthier people to places where the population only ate rice and veggies.
And they shipped people with diseases, mostly auto-immune, to places where the population eats meat.

Seriously, that article is shit....
She spent 45 days looking over the data? This study took place over years with over a hundred thousand people from all over the country..

Not going to debate this though, I'm living proof that animal proteins and oils cause inflammation.

@OP give it a shot, it's only 10 days. If it works for you, great!

Then why do humans have the digestive enzymes for ANIMAL FATS AND PROTEINS?
Ridiculous, if those were toxic to the human body, we'd all be dead.

, how do you explain my RA basically going away If it's not my diet? It was severe. My elbow and toes are actually deformed from it (from pas inflammation)

nobody can, because nobody follows you throughout your life chronicling everything you do. you just associate it with diet because as a patient, all you see is x in, y out. there are so many things going on that could be attributed

No there's not.
I stopped consuming all animal products and oils.
Went on elimination diet for 12 days and started adding vegan foods to see if anything causes me to flare up.
I don't take anything else, except for iron supplement and b12.
On occasion i have buttery popcorn at the theatre, and giess whay, the next few days I'm flared up...

So no, the only explanation is that it works for inflammation type illnesses and no meat eater wants to admit it. Just how i was in denial about it all my first few months of finding out i had RA

Furthermore, there is nothing beneficial about being on a 'normal diet' that i can not get through being vegan. (That there isn't a supplement for, like b12)

As a matter of fact, there is more protein per calories in most legumes than there is on meat. (For people that want more protein in their diet)
