pretty sure supposed to be pretty low AKA strength training reps. Since you can't (realistically) build muscle size (sarcoplasmic hypertrophy) on a cut, however myophibillar(?) hypertrophy AKA the reproduction of strength cells, is possible. So it's better to train for strength on a cut AFAIK.

There is no evidence for hyperplasia in human muscle so no reproduction of strength cells. Myofibrillar hypertrophy refers to a concept of increasing strength by increasing the number of contractile proteins per muscle cell

Not everybody has to have a doctorate in physiology and dedicate their life to studying the human body to help others. The guy seems to be trying to sincerely help people through his personal experiences.

I'd understand if he was spewing absolute bullshit but give the guy a break.

First legit user I've seen. Thanks!

So what background do you have?
Any education or just basing information etc on your own experiences?

I don't need a book to tell me how to do a bicep curl. Or a squat. I took nutritional courses for 2 years and know what certain food sources and do to a body when needed. As far as training and excersize it's based on what I've learnt through experience and pros.

to elaborate on this a little, high rep/high volume while cutting, particularly deep into cut, isnt a great idea. Not only for the reasons turtol touched on but there will be a great deal of metabolic stress that is hard to overcome without adequate recovery.

And this is also complete bullshit. Don't know where you're getting your information from. I coach 15 + clients men and women who compete. Everybody is different which gives me a very good idea of different body types

Not many people do, but every good coach knows that you can learn something from almost everyone.
