So you got a work visa and moved across the world to work at a gym?

Yeah... I'm travelling for a year, I didn't come here to work it's just a necessity if I want to travel for a whole year. The gym job is sweet, $21/hour and free gym pass.

21 an hour is alot in amercia, to just work at a gym front desk

depends, how much is rent in aus? and food? car and gas?

also whats minimum wage in aus?
also taxes, etc.

21 an hour is more than double minimum wage back home where I'm from. rent I pay $150/week ($650 a month) compared to sharing a 1 bedroom apartment back home @ $950/month food is just slightly cheaper here, eating out is about ~$4-$5 less a meal.

Cars upfront are more expensive ~$2,000 for a car that would cost $1,000 back home, then on top of that you need to pay for RWC and inital insurance payment which is going to be ~$600++ but then gas is the same, but insurance here is $200/year vs $180/month back home. (currently dont have a car, as there's no need to drive, work is 2 minute walk from home and only time i go into the city is when im drunk, also i'm drunk almost every day and they take drinking and driving extremely serious over here)

min wage is $17.50 + 10% superannuation, so $19.25. I only pay 6% income tax here, compared to 20% back home.

aliexpress

can buy gymshark shit(90%+ accurate for 1/3rd of the price.)

/ Why people pay full price for brand clothing for stuff like the gym these days in beyond me. The same people who make this shit, are turning around making their own and selling for cheaper

I bought 3 gym shark sweatpants from then! Awesome quality. Can't really buy shirts there though, the sizes are bullshit they're all the same length from small to extra large, the sizes just get wider/baggier
