I wanted Paul. His shit made the most sense to me.

Being that I am not for social equality, Bernie isn't my choice. Sorry, I don't like the idea of 'free' shit for a people who are generally less motivated and less responsible (that is not the case for all, but it is for a majority) - if you want something, work for it, research, change your circumstances, don't blow your money on stupid shit. I know that people like the argument of how it works in some small European countries with free education and great healthcare, but that doesn't do much for me either. That argument is about as useful as saying a single state in the USA is better than another state - regulating a few million people of similar mindset and culture is a whole lot different than regulating hundreds of millions of people in the whole congregate of a gigantic and diverse country . Plus, he doesn't really have much of a chance because of the superdelegates that are with Hillary. And I want nothing to do with Hillary.

With the remaining that are available, given what I said above, I only have Trump left (as a white male with ambitions of being in the 1%, there isn't much for me to fear in him). We are screwed regardless of what happens, unless congress gets in a nice change as well. The whole establishment isn't really set up to be overly productive, regardless of the figure head. But, I do know that if I have to pay more fucking taxes, I will probably have a melt down.

the thing is.. if USA burns, our country will burn as well

Yep.

We're in a sad state of affairs when you're voting in the best of the worst, and they're terrible as is.

The only thing I like about Trump is he wants out of the Western war; other than that how can I have faith in someone who denies global warming?

PAUL: With regard to the idea of whether you have a right to health care, you have realize what that implies. It’s not an abstraction. I’m a physician. That means you have a right to come to my house and conscript me. It means you believe in slavery. It means that you’re going to enslave not only me, but the janitor at my hospital, the person who cleans my office, the assistants who work in my office, the nurses.

Basically, once you imply a belief in a right to someone’s services — do you have a right to plumbing? Do you have a right to water? Do you have right to food? — you’re basically saying you believe in slavery.

I’m a physician in your community and you say you have a right to health care. You have a right to beat down my door with the police, escort me away and force me to take care of you? That’s ultimately what the right to free health care would be.

^^ Yeah Paul seems like a smart guy

Go ahead and explain how what Bernie proposes is magically free? Generalize and say most people are lazy and blow their money on dumb things as if that is the cast for the majority is such a wild statement. Do you think poor people like living in poverty? Bernie's proposal opens the playing field, so everybody can have a chance at college without huge student debt.

Why would you not want these benefits (from our taxes) to work for all the people? People always attack forms of social welfare these "handouts" we give. Those people know so little on corporate welfare it seems. The taxpayer pays for Walmart and Mcdonald's employees, but they'd never deserve a living wage, right?

I don't know anything about paul, don't care either. I only go by logic, reason, evidence and that which makes sense for everyone, not just for poor people who play the victim card.

Of course we want our taxes to benefit everyone, everyone however is a whole lot of people who have no intention of ever doing something to return the generosity that is given to them.

In regard to free university:

Let's consider for a moment the cost of a university degree:

- HSBC put the average annual cost of study in the US – including tuition fees and living expenses – at US$36,564

The GDP per capita in USA is:

- $53,041.98 USD

The tax payable on $53,041.98 = $9,054.25

Source:
https://www.irs.com/articles/2015-federal-tax-rates-personal-exemptions-and-standard-deductions

That means that it takes 4 people to fund just 1 student every year, no other government spending considered. It simply can't be done for "free" only a fool would think so.

I'd like to see actual break downs of how it would work or it's utter nonsense.

The doctor's , janitors, and nurses would still get paid... not sure what the issue is, it works fine here in Canada.
