Hips high and back(most important imo). Back position stays the same until you reach the knees when you accelerate with the lockout. To me conventional deadlift feels like a leg press from the ground and the end is good morning-ish.
that's a good way to think about it. I just have trouble getting tight and setting my back before the lift

Did you re grip between taking the slack out and the pull (I see right hand movement)? Do you normally do that?
I don't think so, do you mean when i rip the bar from the floor before i pull? that's just a mental thing getting used to the weight on the ground.

Don't need cues, you should have the proprioception at this point to know if your back is rounding or straight
I knew my back was rounded.

Do you even deadlift bro?
I got a couple questions...
How is it possible to not try conventional earlier?
286 conventional as a "first time"...?
Jesus christ that's impressive.
Have you ever tried hook grip?
@Aube, subscribed.
haven't pulled conventional in probably a year, pr'd at 275 then swapped to sumo pulled 315 first time i pulled sumo. so went with that. just tried conventional now, and the form feels much better/stronger. I pulled 355 in that vid.
I pull double over hook grip when i pull sumo, over under just feels more natural conventional
