Please explain how my advice wasn't good.
I think my knowledge is pretty spot on to what he was asking.

Lol at creatine being bad.

If you even read the article or what I said it's bad when used improperly. I also said he really doesn't need creatine to gain weight. Supplements should NEVER be a first step to anyone trying to gain pounds or muscle especially to someone who sounds like they've never worked out prior. His actual caloric intake ( of real food ) is far more important at the beginning stages.

OreoStallion, first you demonize it only to recommend it later. You're a dumbfuck.

But I better be careful here. I see in your profile that you train with kettlebells...

Alright. What do you mean with negative results?
I checked that link and it doesnt sound toooo intimidating..
Looks like a good way to gain weight - I drink a lot too..

Well, couldn't I just start with the mass gainer shake?
Or use both actually?

Just eat A LOT of food that have good nutritional value (go for carb-rich food like brown rice/sweet potatoe). And exercise atleast 3 times a week going for a standard 3 sets of 10 reps.

My guess is that your "eating a lot" is not enough.

if you want to gain weight its fucking simple.

eat in a calorie surplus and tear your muscles (GO GYM) then rest & repeat.

Don't use that creatine trash it has really bad long term effects, and side effects.
Or if you're going to just follow the guidelines here and you should be fine ( but honestly you don't need it ) http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-873-creatine.aspx?activeingredientid=873&activeingredientname=creatine
Sounds like you're weak naturally, go to the gym for a few months get a real routine down and see if your weight increases along with strength. If it doesn't then slowly supplement with creatine, also make sure your eating habits are on part. Otherwise your training will be for nothing and you'll see negative results.

Pls go.

Hello people.

I've been trying to gain weight for quite some time now, but no matter how hard I try, I seem to be unable to gain weight.
My question is : how do I gain weight?
To me, it seems, no matter how much I eat my weight doesn't increase. I am a thin person by nature.

I really am a beginner in terms of working out - went to the gym with a buddy today and now I can barely raise my arms - is that normal?

And: Is there any general rule on how much weight to use regarding my height/weight?

ANY information is highly appreciated.

Thanks!

If you tracked what you ate you'd find out how little you're really eating. Give us an idea of what you currently eat and your height/weight.

Demonize? Nah I said he shouldn't be using that stupid shit if he's a first timer. Thanks for checking out my profile what's your point? It's a picture for a reason.
Also I never recommended it, I just provided links to inform him of effects it can have on the system in later stages if he's to go down that road.
The only good advice in the 4 pages of post are what I had highlighted earlier, get your eating habits right. Then see if you need to go the supplemental route.
/e
Notice I said "or" as in I'm not going to assume he'll follow the posts in here and he seems set on taking creatine regardless.
Rather give him information than just say GL like most of the retards who troll this section do.

He hasn't responded to the postings so far, I told him to get his eating in line. I'll go from there when he says what he'll be doing :)

If anybody in this post is serious about telling him to get on creatine without knowing his eating habits, his weight to begin with, if he's lifted before.
You're the real idiot here.
You must crawl prior to walking.

I think you're confusing creatine with anabolics.
