Fish, greens, chicken, oats, Greek yogurt, brown rice, ect.

I guess it could be done if you include whole grain pasta and what not, otherwise I would find it difficult to eat 3200 in calories a day in the above without consuming massive amounts of it.

Edit: like a giant piece of fish is around 200 calories and 45 grams of protein, and that's a huge piece. Unless that fish was restaurant quality it would be difficult to consume huge amounts of it.

so fully fibre-stuffed foods and low fat protein worth of 3200kcal so you won't gain as much fat on otherwise dirty 3200kcal diet?

I wouldn't know for sure since I've never consumed 3200+ calories of those foods for any extended period of time. Add in chicken pad Thai or spicy chicken terriyaki for those calories and I definitely shoot up in weight when eating 3200 (unless the pad Thai is more, but Google estimates it fairly low - 1200 ish so I up that to a solid 1800-2000 when calculating calories (place I goes to gives huge portions)

Edit: haven't had either of those in a a while since I'm trying to cut, but I do need to add some more food I think pre and post workout. Can I still successfully cut while eating peanut butter, banana and daves killer an hour before my workout? I would imagine I can still get lean eating that, just wondering since I know you would know. Oh, I could easily get to 3200 if I ate a lot of fat like peanut butter, makes it easy haha.

I'm 6 foot 10, 270 pounds. I eat around 3,000 calories per day, about 1/2 of what I should eat. I've been doing this for about 3 weeks - lost about 5 pounds. Now that's with a good diet and intense hypertrophy workout plan.

You lost weight ? I gain weight like a motherfucker at 3200

I would say I kept it in a range of 2800 to 3200 on the average. I was down to 210 with those calories, but it was pretty damn slow.

It's way to low... If u don't care about ur current strength/muscle mass and only care about loosing fat as quickly as possible then keep doing it.

However if u want to maintain as much strength/muscle as possible then up the cals by a lot. At ur height weight u could eat 2500 a day and cut easily, however it would take longer.

Be patient and cut the right way staving off as much muscle/strength loss as possible. Or basically crash diet and just shed fat and muscle. Up to u

I'm 6'1 was 220 when I cut. I went as low as 1800 calories. But ended up staying at 2k a day. I lost 40 lbs in a little under 4 months but got WEAK as fuck. Next cut I do will be nice and slow at prolly 2300-2400 calories.

Just started on Tuesday, so we will see (I'm down 2-3 so far). I'm probably a medium frame if I had to guess.

I'm shooting for 225ish.

Checking in on this, weighed in at 248.6 this morning, been losing about 3 a week at this rate - I did up my calories a bit after this, now eating between 1950-2400 depending on my activity level for the day.

Yeah, I think I'm fat enough to fuel that rate for a few more weeks, then I'm gonna switch to 2 lbs a week. Reverse engineered my maintenance based on weight loss to be a little over 3500.

Also trying to win an iPad at my gym, weighed in 265, weighed in 249.8 after workout. I was able to pack on a lot of weight for the weigh in, so I figure if I do 3lbs for another 4ish weeks (would be 236) then switch to 2lbs/around 2500-2800 a day.
