Although historically the difference in things from the US and Canada was justified by the currency deisparity through the 90s, but prices remained the same all through the 2000s as the CAD to USD gap narrowed and even slipped the other way for a couple years.
Currency is supposed to have a lot to do with it, but greed has more to do with it when our dollar is stronger and the prices don't drop on the imported items.
