No. If everyone has that mentality there will only be 1 entry per competition.

People enter a bodybuilding competition because there's almost no way of telling who will win the competition. (talking about -178 men's physique class, not Mr. Olympia)

However, I for one know for a fact if I participated in a strongman contest I wouldn't stand a chance because there are people in my weight class that can deadlift 330kg and squat closer to 300kg. I'm more than 100kg short on each exercise.


therefore, I will not compete in a strongman contest.

I can think of at least 5 people here that are stronger than me, so why waste my time getting a friend to film me, uploading on the internet etc...
