Also been reading online and I've been ignorant to the idea that I eat a lot. Turns out I should be eating 4-6 times a day to gain muscle. I been eating 3-4 times a day of junk (fast food) a day with fast metabolism. No wonder I haven't gained any weight in years. Because to me, that was the idea of eating a lot lol.

Nah but srs it doesn't matter if you're eating 1500 kcal of shit food or 1500 kcal of veggies meat and rice, you will stay the same weight. There's really no such thing as a fast metabolism, you literally just eat the bare minimum amount of food your body needs to have in order to do the things you do on a daily basis. When you eat the same amount of energy you expend every day, you stay the same weight.

Also it doesn't matter how many times per day you eat. You could eat 1 massive meal containing 3000 calories or 10 little meals of 300 calories each and you will see the same results

E: i will tell you right now, for a fact, that if you only weigh 115 or 120 lbs at 21 years old you're either very short or you don't eat very much, or some combination of the two.

oh well then 120 isnt really that bad. alpha is like 150 at 5'5 and hes pretty big for his size. you need to up your protein intake, cut out smoking and hit the gym. ideally if you want to be healthy you should start eating some fruit and veg daily to get more micros because i would bet your edging a deficiency or two if you really eat like you say

First off this is the internet and people only come here to hate on other people.. But IMO you don't need to eat healthy just eat a shit load of food and work out 6 days a week. Just bulk up and worry about getting your body fat % down later.. that's what ive been doing I was 6' 145 3 months ago now im 6' 180 and still lean...

I've never used an app, just googled certain things for their caloric value, or look at the packaging on the items you buy.

Well it doesn't matter too much about having a quantity of meals, as long as you get the amount of calories needed to put on weight. But the easiest way for hardgainers to do this is to eat 5 or 6 times a day - that's what I do because my stomach can't take over 800-1000 calories at a time.

I'd also get the idea of a "fast metabolism" out of your head, because I think people overstate its importance and use it as an excuse. I was 130 lbs at 17, I'm 20 and 158-160 now, so I know what it's like being skinny, and I still want to put on another 10 lbs in the next few months. I put on the majority of my weight when I just ate more, it's difficult but worth it. I'd recommend high calorie protein shakes like mutant mass if you struggle with getting all the calories in

To get bigger. Eat 2 thick with peanut butter sandwhiches 3x a day.

Eat as much fattening cheese with your meals as possible.

Eat meats with high fat content. Ground turkey is usually equal with fat to protein.
