Seriously though, veterans who wear their dress uniforms in public to receive adoration are annoying.

I'm going to a wedding on Friday, and I know the groom will be dressed in his marine attire, and it's going to annoy me the whole night.

You're going to be annoyed that he is proud of being / was a marine and would like to show that to his close friends and family? Doesn't sound like you belong at that wedding.

edit: there's a huge difference between wearing your dress uniforms to go grocery shopping and wearing them for a special event like that
