Vouch, "old lady" is red neck slang for his wife or girlfriend. Typically used in the southern USA, or by dog the bounty hunter.

if she's being a surrogate for a stranger, i would say no. but if it's for a friend/family member, then i'd encourage her.

old man usually refers to the father, at least in america. i assumed old lady meant mom, though i haven't heard the phrase.
