I'm surprised no one has suggested doing things such as deadlifts, squats, bench or overhead press, even if you don't go super heavy doing deadlifts or squats for reps will hit you worse than cardio and hitting the four big lifts will still be beneficial if you're eating dem proteins so when you're dropping the lbs you'll have a bit of a physique starting to pop out.

I agree 100 percent. The only reason I'm not doing the big 4 is because I'm focusing on using my own body weight with larger reps in things like lunges, squats, pushups, 8 counts, mountain climbers etc.
Once I get down to more of an appropriate weight, I'm going to start my weight lifting regime once again.
