If I'm mad at anything, it's that ignorance is still so rampant in our current era, when there's no excuse
Mine currently is right around 60-70
when I've cut lower than this before and was running at least 2x/week it's been down to high 40s/low 50s.. which isn't even exemplary.
do you have first-hand information on earlier eras?

What does dl/squat weight have to do with low hr? Lol. That has no bearing on CV fitness
As I said, if you do any sort of cardio and have at least a low-medium bf%, there's no reason you shouldn't have a pretty low HR. As I said, there's a plethora of people that do no type of exercise and fit within the 60-80 range with ease. That's all I'm saying.
Also, it's so easy to check hr.. just look at a clock and feel your pulse. I'll concede how much it could vary though, as cloud/nmu said
there are reasons for having a high HR even when the cardio-low bf% criteria are met. Variable sensitivity to beta-agonists and the likes is an example of one.
