Cpr is overrated, it looks good on paper but the bottom line is those people don't even know what the fuck they're talking about. My first ley responder certification it was 15/5, this latest one it's 30/2.

I don't want cpr certification. I have to have it for my profession. Once you have the bullshit knowledge they teach you and someone gets hurt, you are liable to be sued if you make a mistake on the scene, even if your intentions are good.

Nobody keeps a defib machine "handy".

Overrated unless you are going for first responder, and making a career out of it. Those guys are boss.

Don't know about the states but Canadian med schools require cpr c and basic life support certs for admittance

They change their guidelines because evidence supporting a better way of sustaining circulation comes up. No you are not at risk of being sued if you have a cert, you obtain permission and you do all that you reasonably can. If you begin cpr and then stop without one of a very select few reasons, you can be sued

waste of 6 hours, it could have just been 1 hour and good to go..
