Had a pilonidal cyscestomy. I had a cyst on the base of my spine that also infected a nerve cluster and eventually my blood stream, and had 3 fistulas that went from the cyst to the top of my crack. So they had to make a 6 inch incision to connect all 3 fistulas, that went all the way to my spine, so they couldn't staple it. It had to heal from the inside out. I had to lay on my stomach, and go in every Friday for silver nitrate cauterizations. Needless to say, those were fun.
