Sheit I guess I'm going to have to start calling my squats "Ladsy" because whenever I do them I can't walk properly for a week.

Nah i didn't. Had a broken back and dislocated shoulder during the entire open haha.... Fml right? Part of the reason i'm doing cross fit, makes everything feel better. Plus getting to work with an olympic lifting coach ( Not Olympic's coach) on the side helps with form a bit... :p

PS. Linda has been my favorite thus far. Smashed it in like 17min @ 175 bodyweight

yeah it still looks hard as fuk

whats the break between sets? of u just do it as fast as u can?

i cant even do 10 reps of bw let alone a descending ladder of 10 with minimal rest

@ Chris, why is this thread called "By's" crossfit?

As fast as you can do them, I would imagine.

I think the Linda one actually looks cool, but I would worry about people who are pretty strong busting through reps as fast as possible for time and having shikaka form.

Nothing makes me more sad than a no leg deadlift. Crossfit or not

thats correct, as soon as you finish ten, you run right into 9... your rest is the other two exercises.

thats what i love about crossfit its as hard as you wanna push it.

of course everything is like that, but you have so much opportunity to challenge yourself each and every time

WOD
Taking it easy today to prep for Fran tomorrow. Just did a 5000m row this morning, quads still burning from yesterday. Not stoked for tomorrow.
Finished the 5000 in 22:20. Pretty slow by standards but was a nice stretch. DOUBLE UNDERS @ 3pm WOOOOOOOT

It's bench bodyweight x 55, Deadlift 1 1/2 bodyweight x55, Clean .75% bodyweight x55. 10 reps of each, then 9, then 8. etc etc down to 1. No rest. Just pick up the bars and go.
I've seen dudes my size do it in 15 and ive seen dudes 250+ do it in 20min upwards to 40minutes..

Thankfully my coach is a fucking stickler for form, i thought my form was good before starting with this guy and not even close. Deadlift is a big one, I never used to load my hamstrings and it makes it sooo much easier.
