Also just an observation.. I'm sure it's correlated that I thought of today.

I got lazy with meditation only doing it say once a week.. maybe twice for the past couple months. But even despite that I could never get back to the vibrational stage(or even seem close imo). I was also finding it more difficult to get my pineal gland tingling(used to be literally instantly) and shit like that

back during school and when I got to the vibrational stage I was literally drinking a green tea everyday.. I stopped drinking ANY for a couple months. Green tea is supposedly supposed to help, so just a thought I'm putting out there - drink more green tea to help your chances of getting further with meditation, etc

Personally I have never read about, practiced, nor plan on practicing meditation.

However, after reading your essay, I must point out several interesting aspects.

First off, even if you are able to excite your neurotransmitter receptors with meditation, you have to understand the synapses can only sustain a certain amount of interactions, and if you "artificially" increase the count (be it through drugs or meditation), the synapses will become over-regulated and will cease to function at their maximum potential for a certain period of time (based on how many extra stimulis they encountered).

That's actually the ONLY reason why there is a down-period after drugs & alcohol, and why people can't just take drugs 24/7 in order to be happy forever.

The second thing I wanted to mention is much more interesting:

Directly interacting with your full subconscious is both extremely difficult & mentally scarring to an unbelievable extent. One's shadow aspect is all the darkest & most depraved thoughts that you can possibly imagine, and many that you can't even begin to fathom. To consciously bring into existence, into the material world (from your own perspective), your shadow aspect and then to interact with it... Well, that's the kind of shit that gets people permanently locked up in the psyche wards, just from one single interaction.

Neurotransmitter thing is merely a theory.

As for interacting with your subconscious, just google it, and you'll find many articles regarding "communicating with your subconscious", we are just thinking of a million useless things unable to hear that voice guiding us, well it's not a voice, it communicates to us via thought forms and emotions. You start off by asking it a simple question like "what is love?" and sit still and quiet and wait for a response in a thought form or emotion.
And I've interacted with my subconscious before, it's not that difficult if you have practice with meditation and silencing one's thoughts. It's not mentally scarring, because I've done it before, and I'm fine. It just takes meditation and practice. You have to make a deal with it, like the devil. It will look out for you.

So this is for those nonbelievers or people that think you'll end up in a psyche ward:

http://www.psionicsonline.net/talking-with-your-subconscious/

and just google communicating with your subconscious.

I'm not in a psyche ward, and i've found random successes and achieved synchronicity in this reality of mine, so quite the contrary...

As long as you want.

10-15 minutes is a good starting time.

You can google lots of different variations.

In my Spanish class, sophomore year... there was this guy in my class named Jacob, and he said if he "went too far" in meditation, it could hurt his brain.

So (of course) we got him to meditate for us, and he started freaking out saying it hurt lolol... we kept making him do it until Mrs. Culina (my Spanish teacher) made us stop because we were "making fun".

Lolol. This is what I always think about when I think of meditation.

A state known as the hypnagogic state where your mind disassociates itself from the body to prepare for sleep so you don't sleep-walk.

Sometimes people wake up around this stage somewhat and it's known as sleep paralysis, it's when audiovisual hallucinations occur/nightmares/etc. It's a phase that's related to when you kick in your sleep, that's when your astral body re-aligns itself with the physical body with a "jerk".

God damn. Sounds amazing, I need to start mediating.
