Hmm always wanted to try the farmer's walk.

Also Burns, our gym has plenty of these aerobic rooms and stuff (like 5-6 of them, all of them are HUGE) so its practically 30+metres across... So when no ones in them, what do you think about me + friend racing in the room, with I don't know... 30kg dumbells in each hand?

The heaviest dumbells I use are the 40kg ones (chestpress) and when I have to carry them back to their rack I'm not exactly mobile c:

might need heavier for farmers, like burns said it depends on your DL grip strength if you can handle 200+ lbs gonna need heavier then 30-40kg.

That's because the bar rolls. If you have farmer's walk handles, they don't roll.

This is adult training. If you're a teen forget about this post.

This is serious.

Should've put something in OP, but this is NOT for young teens.

You gotta make sure your growth is pretty much done.

Hopefully you guys understand that when you debate "functional strength" and the application of training to your real life...this is a HUGE chunk of it.

Making your bones less likely to break and your joints and tendons stronger basically means stupid injuries like "I didn't see the last stair", "I hurt my back picking up something", etc, up to "I got bumped by a car", "i fell from a couple feet" and so on just won't do much damage if at all.
