Ego over success = Failure

THis isn't some Jean claude vandamme bloodsport training montage where you're going to get super strong in 10 minutes of really cheezy music and grunting / some old dude smiling with approval.
It takes time, be patient

yes , i will be patient and i will keep what you said in mind... im in no hurry any more , i know in time what ever workout i am doing will help shape up my body.

Thanks m9..

Ok 1 Question I am confused. First off I know boxa is hyogge and shit etc. But when I learned about working out people said keep your exercises for the day around 4-5 if you are working out like 1 part? Well should I upgrade my stuff to 6-7 because usually i'm not burnt out after all these exercises. So I'm guessing I should increase my volume? Maybe it'll help my muscle into growth by shocking them?

Typiclly, try to plan to be drained at 1-2 hours max.
Anyone who lifts for more than that is either lying or just not doing enough
This is from an Ectomorph's point of view though, I'm not sure about anyone else but I know whenever I excercise.. it's to the maximum heaviness I can do, there are no warm ups with moderate weight etc skinnies always gotta lift mega heavy.

o ok, yea i usually only warm up shoulders because i don't want to get injured. my shoulder hurt for a couple weeks like a month or two ago so now i warm it up a little.

but i think im going to increase the volume in my workouts.

I mispoke actually, you do do a warm up of course.. if you dont its injury waiting to happen.
but yeah I know boxa does his moderate lifts after the warm up before he goes heavy for example, I could never do that since it burns way too many calories from my body lol ;p

That depends largely on your body type =p
Are you skinny and find it next to impossible to gain weight unless you're eating like 5k calories a day?
If so youre an ectomorph and need to lift very heavy.. almost your max, like a power lifter. You should be dying after 3-4 reps.

If you're a mesomorph, #1 thank your parents because you gain and retain muscle mass easilly
and 2 you pretty much lift like an ectomorph would, except maybe keep the excercise a little more fast paced by using slightly less weight than your max. You should be dead after 8-10 reps

If you're fat, you're probably an endomorph and lifting is really up to you; you can treat it like a mesomprh's work out and do 8-10 reps.
Usually though from what Iv'e seen Calisthenics works awesome for fattys. Push ups pull ups etc shred the fat and tone the body up.. then think about lifting like a mesomorph

1) don't thread jack.
2) that's a really generic blanket statement and I don't agree with it. everyone is different, regardless of body type groupings.

lol, thread jack?
what are you talking about..

there was no point in this thread anyways, except you boasting about how you stretch your excercise out over a rediculous amount of reps with mild weight instead of doing a quality excercise.. no offense.

and Body type has A LOT to do with how your results appear and in how you need to be excercising.. its genetics.

Someone posted asking for help, I gave him solid advice based on science.. proven with real results.

Here, is this the kind of post you were expecting us to make?
Ohhhh boxa, wow I'm so impressed brah.. you can do a bajillion reps with little weight and burn calories instead of gaining solid mass. COOL STORY BRO

Overtraining unless on steroids period. If you're doing this every Monday and it's not overtraining, you should be squatting 3 times your weight and........ you're not.
