Also, don't forget to eat a ton of raw veggies while bulking up - the phytonutrients and fiber are essential for digestion.

Hey I have another question for you.
Do I really need 1 gram of protein for 1 pound of my bodyweight because I've been having trouble getting past 80-90 in a given day but I weigh 155, will I not gain significant muscle?

Hey I'm 15 and currently taking creatine and sometimes muscle milk.

I'm a freshmen in HS weigh 220 5'10, bench 225, squat 280, dl 300ish (turned 15 like 3 weeks ago)

I'm looking to loose fat gain more muscle, but still loose more fat to show my muscles a bit more.

Should I take any fat burners? I'm currently trying green tea and caffeine.

I have lost 20 lbs in less than 3 weeks (for football, but was SO unhealthy I barely ate anything and excercised my ass off)

I try to eat health but my mom/dad always bring takeout home and I really don't have a choice, sometimes I do and when I do I still choose to eat it, usually burgerking or chinese food

How do I keep my hunger down and It's hard to eat 6 meals a day when Im always haning out with friends, school and sports.

Got any tips for loosing weight with my situation?

raw veggies contain the most nutrients. lettuce does count as a green veggie.

broccoli, spinach, and lettuce are fine.

yes...you need at LEAST 1g / lb bodyweight of protein.

it is quite easy to do...sample meals:

meal 1 - 3 whole eggs + oatmeal + 1 cup milk = 25g protein

meal 2 - 1 can tuna on a sandwich w/ veggies = 35g protein

meal 3 - 6 oz chicken breast + brown rice and broccoli = 50g protein

meal 4 - protein shake + 1 banana = 40g protein

meal 5 - 3 oz turkey 3 oz cheese + celery = 40g protein

meal 6 - 1 cup cottage cheese + mixed nuts = 35g protein

total = 225g

this is 1.5g / lb bodyweight of protein.

hey there.

the best idea is for you to modify your eating habits to work around your routine.

first off, for snacks to keep your metabilism going... throughout the day try any of these items:

hard boiled eggs, nuts (mixed or almonds), sliced meat or cheese, celery and peanut butter, protein bars (I like VPX Zero impact pumpkin supreme), or beef jerky (low sodium variety).

as far as meals go, stick to the basics...lean protein + complex carb + veggies. Eat some fruits in the first 3 meals of the day...the next 3 meals, avoid any carbs except for complex carbs (also keep the carb count lower at the last 3 meals to avoid excess fat storage)

try GAT Jet Fuel as a supplement for fat burning. 3 pills in the AM with a lot of water, then eat 20-30 mins later.

hey there.

Fats do not make you fat - carbs...especially simple carbs/sugar/alcohol - help make you fat.

You need fats to burn fat and to produce testosterone. Essentially you need at least 2 grams of unsaturated fat to every 1 gram of saturated fat to stay healthy. Eat lots of good fats from sources like....fish, avocados, flax, omega supplements, etc.

As far as carbs...there is a HUGE difference between carbohydrates.

Simple Carbs - products like white flour, white rice, etc - these carbs are fast-digesting and will result in fat gain if not burned as energy within the first hour of eating.

Simple Sugars - products like sugar, candy, cakes, pies, etc. - these carbs are the fastest-digesting and will result in substantial fat gain if not burned as energy within the first 45 mins of eating.

Alcohol Sugars - any alcoholic beverage - these carbs are digested as sugars and contain more calories per gram than a simple sugar (7 instead of 4) - avoid at all costs!

Complex Carbs - products like whole grains, sweet potatoes, pasta, etc. - these are GOOD carbs...these digest slowly and have very little impact on your glycemic load. They will put on minimal fats, but also provide sustained energy. These are the carbs you want - but as with any carb...do NOT overdo it...excess carbohydrates WILL result in fat gain.

Reading this with a nearly empty can of Red Bull in my hand haha. bleh. Thanks a lot though! I do have a fast metabolism but also just want to be healthy so ill watch out for the different types now :)

I thought of 1 more thing to ask u about..

The past few months i have no been able to have normal breakfast. I am hungry in the morning but when i eat like more than even 1 or 2 slices of bread i feel like im going to puke, and it actually would happen if i did eat more in the morning. What do i do wrong?
