i really didnt see myself as a hardgainer really, im not small in comparison or anything and i seem to gain fat/muscle generally easy. im not very tall (5'6-5'7) but whatever you say.
you seem to be quite lean and without a lot of mass in general. you are my height, and I know plenty of men our height as well who have the opposite problem of being too fat and unable to keep a good lean weight. In order for you to get bigger, you need more nutrition. You won't get fat...but it will certainly help you attain what you want.
As far as the split goes...don't you have the 5x5 plan? i just posted it a few pages back...
