When I stalled in the past, the best thing I ever did was ditch the pl stance and focus on triceps/shoulders. I was benching 325~ in a stance with no increase in weights.  Ditched the stance.  Dropped down to 275x2-3ish and reached my all-time bench max of 385x2 in a handful of month with no stance.

Then I got my forever front delt injury doing stupid heavy dips.

Jeez u benched 385x2?

Didn't realize how easy this was until I watched the video.  Most I had ever done in training 10 weeks prior was 475.

Before my first front delt injury, my bench was on that skyrocket. Then it dropped far. Now, I can probably do 365x1 and could get it up if I cared that much. My front delts hate heavy flat bench anymore though :(

Lesson here: Control the weights especially on dips

I still recall you saying that roids are bad because it doesn't leave enough time for tendons to catch up with your new strength, and I told you "you're increasing strength much faster than somebody with a hypertrophy routine on the juice, watch out".

But yeah we usually don't want to see signals. I didn't stop either when the discomforts in my knees started because i was competing, and smashing peopke felt great, and here i am now lol.

Lesson 2: even when we leave the ego at the door... We'd better check twice we've left it at the door.
